To assist in shaping, organizing, and editing our company's newsletters and news stories as needed, we are hiring seasoned copy editors. You will uphold the tone and style of the business while making sure that all content is Smartly Brevity. You will collaborate with reporters to provide feedback and ideas to help them hone their reporting skills and provide better news. These newsletters are often published in the wee hours of the morning.
Editing expertise, with at least five years of copy-editing experience in the journalism world
Demonstrated experience in editing newsletters and digital copy
Capability to quickly aggregate news and write when needed
Ability to work quickly and autonomously with extreme attention to detail under deadline pressure
Interest in learning and implementing Axios style quickly
