18 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college background is preferred.
Must have a proficiency in English
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Live-in Volunteers’ basic living needs are taken care of and are provided with:
A private room in one of our beautiful houses
Daily, nutritious meals
Medical insurance
Access to a car
Money for incidental expenses
9 weeks of vacation
New volunteers have biweekly group meetings for mentorship, support, and further training.

If you have achieved, or are actively pursuing, a professional qualification aligned with the field of the Special School (whether in education, psychology, therapy, social work, or a vocational field like arts, crafts, or agriculture), you have the opportunity to engage with the community through a professional internship.
Our volunteer service year aligns with the school calendar, commencing in mid-August and concluding the following July. Additionally, we welcome volunteers in January to provide supplementary support.
Volunteers are encouraged to apply for service positions that span from 3 to 12 months in commitment, allowing flexibility based on individual availability and preferences.
