All facets of supply chain management, procurement, and sourcing will be under the direction of the head of sourcing and procurement. A thorough awareness of the sector as well as management expertise in warehousing, last-mile delivery, freight forwarding, third-party logistics (3PL), and manufacturers are prerequisites for this position.
Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key vendors.
Lead supplier selection and qualification processes to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and operations, to understand their requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Oversee inventory management to optimize stock levels, reduce lead times, and minimize carrying costs.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities or risks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
Implement and maintain robust systems and processes for procurement, order management, and supply chain visibility.
Manage relationships with freight forwarders, 3PL providers, and warehousing partners to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Stay updated on regulatory requirements and compliance related to sourcing, procurement, and supply chain activities.
Strong sourcing and procurement expertise (technical expertise).
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of global supply chain management mainly in the US and China.
Proficiency in inventory management and order tracking.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
Understanding of international trade regulations.
Ability to lead and develop teams.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Minimum 10 years in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management within the supply chain industry.
In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement best practices, including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and international trade regulations.
Experience in managing global suppliers and conducting business across different countries, especially the US, China, UK, and Canada.
Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools for inventory management, order tracking, and data analysis.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
