Both the Assistant Hotel General Manager and the Hotel General Manager receive administrative and organizational support from the HGM Executive Assistant. Strong verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and trust are prerequisites for this role. The executive assistant, who works as the direct assistant to the two upper-level managers in the hotel department, needs to be able to prioritize tasks, manage time and resources, and keep an eye on several projects at once while adhering to deadlines and using his or her assigned authority to get the job done.
