To guarantee the caliber and dependability of our web and mobile applications, which include CMS, e-commerce, and financial systems, we are looking for a highly driven and skilled software test engineer. You will be essential in testing API interactions, cross-functional integration, UI/UX, and functionality. Strong knowledge of testing procedures, outstanding communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate freely with a Singapore-based Product Owner are prerequisites for this position.
Responsibilities:
Execute comprehensive quality assurance tests on software applications, websites, and IT systems to identify defects, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with software development teams to develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
Conduct various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing, to validate the functionality and reliability of IT systems.
Report and track defects and issues using a designated bug-tracking system.
Work closely with developers to resolve and retest defects.
Document test procedures, results, and any deviations from quality standards.
Prepare test summary reports.
Ensure compliance with IT quality standards, industry best practices, and security regulations.
Collaborate with IT teams to identify areas for process improvement and participate in process enhancement initiatives. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of manual testing experience.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
Experience in Performance testing, Functional testing, Adhoc/Exploratory testing, and UI/UX testing on web and mobile applications.
Ability to fully test features from the stage of requirements analysis to regression testing.
Experience with JIRA/Confluence.Knowledge of testing methods and processes.
Experience in the Agile/Scrum process is preferred.
Good logical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Hard-working, honest, and proactive in work.
Experience working in a collaborative team environment, including discussions around creative reviews and providing/receiving constructive feedback from team members and clients.
Ability to summarize information and communicate effectively, being proactive in communication.
Vietnamese language proficiency is required. English fluency is a big plus.
