The Accounting Intern will provide administrative support to all accounting functions. Manages and contributes to multiple accounting projects while using Company core values of Integrity, Candor, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
What you will be doing:
Data entry
Learn fundamental accounting principles and provide administrative support
Shadow leaders on the accounting team
Provides immediate and detailed feedback for all requests
Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation, and teamwork
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-year customer service experience
1-2 years of college-level education in accounting
Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
Ability to work independently and with other team members
Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner
Ability to multi-task
Ability to maintain a great degree of confidence
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Knowledge of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office products and the Internet; Must be adept in use of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
Must have a willingness to learn and change with the organization
Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and computer
Maintain a mature problem-solving attitude under stressful conditions
Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required
