You should be well-versed in JavaScript and CSS, have a lot of experience creating sophisticated SPA web apps, have a knack for good user experience, be able to identify browser performance issues, use any type of contemporary front-end framework, create responsive visualizations, write tests, and occasionally work with back-end code when necessary.
