You will provide technical support for desktop computers, applications, and related technology to faculty and staff. The specification, setup, and testing of computer systems and peripherals are all included in support. Application software and operating systems must be consulted in order to diagnose and fix one-of-a-kind, non-recurring issues. He also helps with the testing and upkeep of network servers and related hardware. The duties of the role necessitate independent analysis, problem-solving, and communication. Little supervision is used while working, and initiative and judgment are needed.
