Being a member of our Technical Support team will be crucial to helping the company's employees in Cyprus offices with their daily tasks by providing technical support. Supporting and upholding a robust office network infrastructure while also assisting with computer and system maintenance will be your primary priorities. Our Cyprus headquarters will be the on-site location for this role.
You will:
Attend to tasks related to providing Desktop, Laptop, Printer and Network support
Instal and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Consistently adhere to established SLAs for tickets, and meeting deadlines for project-based work
Repair or replacing damaged hardware
Ability to assemble quality workstations
Understand and ability to lay network cabling
Perform tests and evaluations on new software and hardware
Provide support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting
Support business/software applications and operating systems
Troubleshoot and resolving software issues; re-imaging computers/hard drives; backing up and restoring settings and associated systems administration activities
Provide infrastructure administration functions such as scheduling, monitoring, and following up with users
IT equipment/asset/inventory management
Proactive in problem-solving
Process and procedures documentation and regular reports
Occasionally assist in monitoring or supervising repairs or project works
Basic programming knowledge is preferred but not entirely necessary
Establish good relationships with all departments and colleagues
What makes you a great fit:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Industry-relevant certifications such as: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS will be considered an advantage
3+ years experience in computer, networks and systems maintenance
2+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience
2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience
Good experience in Linux, Basic Windows and Mac OS
Experience in network hardware installation and roll-out according to the design and templates
Basic knowledge of the following network technologies: VLAN, STP, LACP, Stacking, NAT, AAA, TACACS, DMVPN, BGP, HSRP, DHCP
Understanding the OSI model
Understanding the Wi-Fi technologies
Experience with device hardware from Cisco and Huawei vendors
Connectivity problem diagnostics and troubleshooting
CCNA/CCNP level is an advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Good interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Creative and have good problem-solving skills
